Six Shooter Glue Gun

Related, but not entirely ontopic... I've been trying to find a good gluegun, and have been unable. When I was a kid, my family had a gluegun with a detachable base, where the base plugged into the outlet. When the gluegun was sitting on the base, it heated up. That gave it someplace stable to sit when you weren't glueing, and no cord when you were. I can't find anything like it nowadats.

Like a cordless Surebonder? [1]

And this is why I posted the comment. Thank you so much!

Oh I’ve never seen one like that, might have to treat myself

There’s one like sold by Lidl with the store-brand Parkside, at least in EU

I need to know more here. This gentleman has a whole series of “TVShow” episodes, viewership / quantity tiny.

The website is interesting, fun to discover what is around. All served by "index.php"!

Some on-the-nose comics/art: http://vijemiller.com/index.php?t=Politicks

and it seems his micro blog code is here if you follow his github url on the page :) https://github.com/millworks/miter/blob/main/index.php

was wondering how he protects his site _SESSION and it turned out to be quite interesting as the /back/index.php file that set the session (https://github.com/millworks/miter/blob/d8553b991c6e96cbc71b...) is protected with good old basic auth trick (probably apache or .htaccess setting) - simple and effective for personal use.

The video is funny, but they don't show the power cord.

If it was reasonably priced I would buy this product.

Would you buy it as a subscription service that only works with glue sticks with embedded DRM? /s

And of course the glue sticks are tied to your account, you can not exchange them with other users. And they expire if unused.

Exchanging glue sticks will be implemented in the future using NFTs.

Good timing. IIRC this time last year we used 10 or more full-sized hot glue sticks to assemble our son's halloween costume.

I like the concept, but it needs a microcontroller, just because...?

> just because

Much the same reason you need an automatically reloading glue-gun in the first place!
