I agree, Meta has never done anything like this before. Fully transparent and honest organization, its always working for best interest of people and democracies.

Oh lets just take a claim made by a clearly biased publication (thewire.in) as the truth and say how bad the Indian Govt and Meta is and how they are stifling speech of dissenters. /s

Here you go. May be the WSJ is also biased.

“Facebook Says Its Rules Apply to All. Company Documents Reveal a Secret Elite That’s Exempt. A program known as XCheck has given millions of celebrities, politicians and other high-profile users special treatment, a privilege many abuse.”

The screenshots in the article are clearly fake. There is no instagram.workplace.com

Can you please prove in any way that this url does not exist?

Ever heard of “intranet”? Local network urls are not available outside company network.

instagram.workplace.com redirects to www.workplace.com

Any other legit domains take you to their SSO page. Try walmart.workplace.com

Seems any invalid subdomain causes a redirect to the www subdomain: asdfgqwerty.workplace.com

workplace.com is owned by Meta. So who knows if they are running their own intranet instance for themselves. They dont need to pay big bucks to anyone to cause a fake redirect.
