That’s horrible to do to people. Imagine being the Stadia employees who lied to developers while management knew for months that they were shutting it down. My respect for Google continues to plummet.
Not sure it can really work any other way. Minutes after they tell employees, one of them will tell a blogger. And then it would be known to the public minutes after they found out.
