The photo quality is quite high so they seem to have been taken relatively recently, but definitely deliver the nostalgic vibes from before. There were definitely a lot of floppies involved.

I guess whatever removable media is available at the time.
SD cards and USB sticks are definitely still around, but dwindling in numbers due to wireless replacements and seamless transfer systems like 'cloud-backup' and hyper-link sharing.
regrettably they're not usually as aesthetic or CDs/MDs/hard-drive platters.
A PCB that is populated with a lot of flash is pretty high-tech looking, though.
lately i've seen lots of stock photos for 'technology' that include lots of lab equipment and cryonic style stuff that looks like it belongs in a quantum computing lab of some sort, maybe that's the new theme.[0]
