I used Spotify for a brief period of time when I was away from home and my local music library. While I do miss having an bottomless pit of music to explore, and also not having to manually download new releases, the experience paled in comparison to having local music files and using foobar2000. Call me antiquated, but to this day I still prefer using a native music player on my desktop, and something like Shuttle+ on my mobile device.
