3.1 will continue to work you just won’t be able to create new lambdas with it. Similar to what they do with node or did with .net 2.1.

I don't use AWS but I was curious about this. Seems like they wouldn't pull the rug out from under people like this quite that easily.

That being said, worth getting the upgrade done as soon as possible for GP's reason and others.
