These regulations are precisely targeted to harm these monopolies, but ultimately they will also harm the small players trying to get into the market because of the huge compliance risk. So it is a double edged sword as we’ve seen this play out before.

The solution is to prevent monopolies forming in the first place and break them up quickly. And God sakes, stop approving mega mergers (facebook and Instagram? Lol. Google and YouTube? Double lol)

Despite this, I’m happy to see some action, but I’d rather set direct action against breaking them up.
