FSD may be a huge fraud but the whole company is not. The cars are real!

The cars are real but they are... Mediocre. The first year of ownership is an amazing honeymoon period, assuming you got one with decent build quality. But the parts are cheap, and they break quickly. I've had one for 5+ years and it's gradually become something I prefer driving less and less.

Your personal experience is not something that can be so easily generalized. I've had my Model 3 for 4+ years, and the only real problems I've had are non-mechanical (nails embedded in tires, getting keyed in SF, etc.). See - we cancel out....

I've had nothing break after 5 years so far. Best car I've ever had (previously: VW Passat, BMW 525iX, BMW 530xd).

they’re electric cars. And i’m pretty sure they’re the biggest electric car brand with the most chargers, which they lease to other automakers at a profit.

My family has a Tesla and they seem to be very happy with it. I’ve driven in it and it seems really nice, maybe not exceptional but not bad.

I do have to say though, the Lidar and self-driving is glitchy and kind of gimmicky. But the fact they’re electric makes them worth it regardless.

There are no LIDARs in Tesla cars. That's part of their problem.

But there are great electric cars from, eg, Kia, Hyundai, Ford, VW, etc. Etc. Tesla is no longer unique.

3.5 years here with a model 3. Zero problems. Still love it. What other EV would you pick and what would you use instead of the supercharger network? I don't want to own any more gasoline cars...

Currently have a reservation in for a Ford Lightning (but we use a truck for our forest). We have a plug in hybrid that has a 20 mile range on battery that basically never runs on gas as well.

I've heard good things about the Kia Niro, VW ID.4, and Hyundai Kona as well.

i friggin love our model 3. two years and almost 60,000 miles in!

i want to get the model s refresh and be a two tesla household, but my pay needs to go up a little :)

But are the financials of the company also real ? The prospects of future products ? Robotaxis, FSD, Cybertruck, Semi ?
