Yeah: How is it possible that "she's been unable to work for the better half of the year" is a direct consequence of Dell customer service being bad?

If the job isn't important enough to merit buying another laptop to do it, maybe that complaint is exaggerating the impact just a tad?

Seems presumptuous to immediately take for granted the funds to replace a laptop twice?

Maybe they just cant afford it and have been struggling by on the half working device until now.

Yeah, I don't know what part of "had to buy this laptop on a payment plan, and Dell refuses to refund a single damn cent" suggests she has the money lying around to buy another high end laptop. Especially when the thread mentions having to sell various things to keep bills paid.

Yeah, so much wasted energy. I've just wasted 10 minutes reading these comments to this point, about a ladies broken laptop who I don't even know. I'm going to go live my life and not do this anymore.
