Yes. I'm married--in fact, threats against my family were the major reason I scaled back by public presence--so that adds a bit of complexity, but moving elsewhere is definitely an option. I know enough about Europe to know that it's not the utopia many liberals/leftists make it out to be, but I don't see much of a future here.

A very talented (sadly deceased) acquaintance of mine became unemployable in the US due to his left-wing politics, although he was quite moderate (e.g., he never advocated violence). He ended up doing very well at LSE.

Given the way things are in this country, movement abroad is something I've been thinking about for a while, but it's not a decision to be taken lightly.
