Edit: Adding \s \s \s

Musk has been claiming full self-driving to be just around the corner for 9 years straight. Every year.

But I'm sure this time it's going to happen. It's bound to eventually right? (wrong)

The trick is its "Fully Self-Driving" TM. Which doesn't mean what the rest of the industry means by that.

Heh yeah, they'll just rename autopilot to "Fully Self-Driving", then act all confused when people think its fully self driving.

As in you Fully Self-Drive...Yourself.

Perhaps FSD is actually a recursive GNU style acronym - "FSD Self Driving" - an easter egg for those in the know.

Absolutely. It is my personal tragedy that many though I posted it as a factual statement :-))

Nailed it!

Well, the technology is ready, but the regulators aren't going to let us slam into other cars yet because they are humorless troglodytes.

By the number of down votes it seems many needed the sarcasm tag...I take offense that you though I would take Elon Musk seriously :-))
