I'm waiting for the day they turn off access to Old Reddit. Then I'll stop using it' and hopefully finally be free of the neverending bullshit there.

Im not sure if they will. Id wager most of the power users who keep the site alive are using the alternate uis like 3rd party apps or old reddit. Who knows though.

And you can count all the Apollo (and other 3rd party clients) users out lol, myself included

Chat is (or was, I haven't looked recently) on old.reddit

I think live chat is something else, akin to a twitch chat type thing. I dont think its on old reddit, i may be wrong though. Ive never seen it anywhere, at least

I just checked and it's still there. There is a chat bubble icon in the upper-right, between the mail icon and shield icon.

It somewhat works on old.reddit, but at least it's not completely broken like the "report" feature for comments or posts that break the rules. (To report something, I have to switch to reddit's mobile interface.)

Ah, interesting
