I have a Sony to, standby is around 1W unless I enable some features like Airplay, then it jumps to 20W. Enabling the feature will show a warning in the UI that "this might increase power consumption". I think this is how they get away with this. They show this warning with a lot of settings. Also a lot of TV's have an energy saver picture profile which is horrible to look at for movies, but it's included to pass the rating I guess.

Tried a lot of settings, but with enabled network I never got the standby power consumption down. It should also be expected that the TV uses the advertised amount of energy in standby mode with the default settings, which was really not the case for me. And don’t get me started on this „might increase power consumption“ message. This might actually not be Sony‘s fault, but the EU‘s, but it really gets annoying when it pops up all the time.

For me (KD-55X9000H) the default settings give low power consumption. Enabling WiFi does not make a difference. Enabling HomeKit Wakeup (not Airplay, as I mentioned before) gives a huge power usage. Disabling it again doesn't bring it down. Only after a factory reset I got it down again. Took me a while to figure this out. Also, it might depend on your firmware version.
