I wholeheartedly agreed.

I would rather have four-core underpowered and underclocked than one that is running and other three CPUs that are cooling off.

Better yet, the entire CPU chipset regulates itself without consuming their own processing bandwidth.

CPUs do regulate themselves in hardware. They can throttle to whatever maximium Tdie is registered by the BIOS or sometimes the host system within milliseconds and even communicate with the VRM.

Apparently, you haven’t minimize the current and future need for an upower daemon, not even close.
