- attack on competing digital wild moneys aka crypto

- uncontrollable inflation and erosion of US dollar despite rate increases

- a 4 sigma event causing super-deflation

- political instability from demographic most impacted by super-deflation

- social instability from demographic most vulnerable to super-inflation

- financial surveillance of said demographics

- the rich who survive can bypass CBDC via bartering hard assets
