She would. But as the husband and after saying "i'll get to it", it really is my job and I need to get off my ass to do it. My wife does so much for the household and is a very patient person, by the time she does get pissed it's warranted.

Re: getting kicked out was an exaggeration, and this original comment was more a "i need to do the small daily things to keep my wife happy because that really is the most important thing I can be doing at this moment, not procrasti-working and reading HN". It was more toungue-in-cheek than anything.

By the way: I DID finally clean the garage and it looks wonderful, so crisis averted.
