Yes, young men who join the military for no other reason but to try and support themselves (there are no jobs) are sent to kill Ukrainians in Donbass and Luhansk along with convicts who are offered a shorter jail term. Some oof these young men don't come back and their parents are wondering what happened to them? They are usually lied to and told there was an accident but many learn to find out their kids were killed after being forced to fight in Ukraine.
Are you talking about the US army, which people join mostly for the free education, free housing, and to get a guaranteed job? Do you know how many Americans died in Iraq, how many got PTSD after the Gulf War?
