Interesting how the organization was broken out.

What is the difference between "Engineering Information" and "Computer and Engineering Information" groups?

Bell, at the time, had a lot of non-computer pursuits like switches and microwave antennas. Engineering was a lot more than writing code back then.

I work at AT&T Labs, one of Bell's heritor institutions, and we still do work that intersects with switches & telephony hardware
