I might be wrong, but I think that TET enzymes and the Tet-Off/Tet-On system are not related.

Yeah TET here is ten-eleven translocation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TET_enzymes), not tetracycline (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetracycline-controlled_transc...).
