You can use the saute mode in the place of a stovetop pan.
“Saute mode” is from a universal feature of electric pressure cookers, AFAIK.
It's also, while good for the particular use cases it is aimed at, not great general substitute for a proper set of stovetop cookware.
Most people mentioning electric pressure cookers these days are referring to the "Instant Pot" or similar. Check it out.
