This isn't good. Most of the live visuals I've seen are in a dimly lit room with a black background. Often this is so that it's hard to see the edges of the screen and the visualization appears to be floating. Having an orange dot in the corner would break the immersion for the audience. It's also going to be larger when projected, maybe a couple inches in diameter.
