My favorite quote on inflation is:

“There are four types of economies: Developed, developing, Japan & Argentina.”

Japan in reference to deflation and Argentina to inflation.

Sorted from low to high inflation: Japan, developed, developing, Argentina.

Developed and developing don't seem right to me. Central and peripheral seem much better.
