How does it compare in comfort to a low quality standing desk?
The motors make it easier to set a custom height. I just use a monitor mount instead, it’s the same thing with a stack of books or boxes. If you don’t have a good chair first though not much change.
With a lower quality standing desk, you will notice issues with motor over time such as stutter or plain failure. They may also tend to wobble if you lean onto them at a height
recommendation? brand?
I've been happy with Uplift. Everything from the packaging to the assembly instructions was on point. Expensive though.
