It's worse. If you look closely, it's really one data point not two, since the value is not given for the lower french fry. By the way, that footnote is hilarious.

It didn't even register as a chart related to the story for me. I thought it was an add for MdDonald's (key of the article content) and ignored it.

I think it's supposed to be a joke.
