I'm confused. Didn't Chapelle ask the Trans community to stop "punching down" on comedians? (I think it is the very last thing he said in the show). His good friend was a Trans comedian and ended up committing suicide.
Him saying Team TERF is like saying you are pro-antisemitic in the 1920s. I don't know about his friend but his standup messages were awful regardless.
