The core features of Rust are the borrow checker, traits, and algebraic data types, and Zig is missing all of those. On the other hand, Zig has a lot of things that C doesn't have, and a few that Rust doesn't have as well - and some people gravitate towards the C-like simplicity of the language.
Is a place to get a feel for things. There's also a generated doc set that is similar to rust's, but I just recommend looking at the source if you are curious about something, it's concise and readable. If you have more questions you can pop into irc or the discord, they'll have better resources at the ready.
