If you are not homeless then you won’t be facing all that danger from attackers, go to the emergency room or be busted and jailed for some NIMBY laws to get the homeless out.

Doesn't have to be a house. Could be a small room. Like the old Odd Fellows society that used to offer housing to folks.

There are perfectly reasonable arguments for enshrining the right to decent housing in law, such that everyone would be entitled to it.
