Google One, and Google Workspaces both offer paid support plans that cover Google Drive.

I pay for Google one since approx 24 months and have had surprisingly decent phone support with less than 3 clicks.

PS: I tend to avoid google services, but google workplace is too damn superior

This has also been my experience. Google One will get you to the right person to get things fixed. I had a billing issue that they were able to resolve in under 24 hours. But I could see the problem if your account gets banned that has the Google One on it... Would be hard to submit a request when you can't log in.

Im that case just put one service on another account for a couple of bucks.

I was pleasantly surprised to have a billing issue with Google One resolved in less than 30 mins.

do you still have access to support if your account is locked?

Google workspaces requires you to attach a non-workspaces-related account. Unless they both go down, you can still contact them. Worst case, I believe Workspaces requires a phone number now -- at least Google can't wipe that!

I highly doubt getting locked out of your google drive still allows you to download backups from google backup services...

Which is why I download the Takeout backup monthly.

Oooh... looks like they now have an option on Takeout to automatically do an export every two months, and send it to a third-party provider (your choice of Box, Dropbox, or OneDrive).

Good luck trying to use it.

They have to provide it by law under GDPR and other directives in the EU.

They can also just delete the data. That would solve it too. (for them)

No, because that would be contrary to data portability requirements. Deleting the data would only be appropriate for PII
