I think they needed to be more explicit for their commercial customers. Our c-suite is gonna prefer a blog post to a git diff!

Regardless, not having the manpower or not prioritizing community contributions is an interesting situation that hasn't been seen much in the past before. I wonder why it is that they can't find the necessary manpower not to have this problem. Is it a matter of priorities? Or of the job market? Or employee related expenses?
