"Microsoft formats your kids" really fell flat compared to all the others.

I'm totally baffled by that one as well. Can someone explain what they are trying to say?

In french, the verb "formater"[0] can either mean to format (like to format a hdd) or to brainwash.

They must have though the meanings where the same in english.

"Microsoft makes your kids use FAT" would have been better? :)

How about just "Microsoft made Internet Explorer"

Edit: I don't care if its good now. I dealt with IE in Microsoft's preferred form (pure shit) for 20 years.

They made it but enterprises kept it alive.
