Can you imagine what these temps will look like if the Gulf Stream slows/shuts downs as predicted?

Can you expand on that a bit, I don't have any context to understand how far out of whack it is?

It’s a almost as bad as it could be. The only thing that could make this worse is of the hurricane slowed down over the gulf and stayed there for a couple days.
