Apart from anything else, Gizmodo repeatedly confuses the PUC (public utilities commission) and ERCOT, both in its criticism, and factually when it refers to a PUC board member as an ERCOT board member.

Its just a psyops "punch Texas" article anyway, so getting the facts straight wasn't an issue.

Getting the facts right matters. At the same time, isn’t the Texas leadership that lead to the power grid fiasco deserving of intense criticism?

Here's hoping that D'Andrea was the biggest part of the leadership problem. He certainly represented himself as having too much power.
