Maybe the most frustrating part of this entire discussion is how little Apple needs to do to correct it. We could be living in a golden age of digital opportunity if Apple focused on implementing open protocols instead of private ones.
Android is perfect for the burner phones though, the ones that you trash after a call or 2 (still, expect that every sensor possible will be reporting it's data back to "a manufacturing party" the moment you activate it)
