To be fair, the technology and storage available in the early 2000s would have been quite sufficient to store all of Reeves' facial expressions.

I saw over 14 millions of possible futures. And how many Reeves' facials expressions? Just one.

I don't fear the person training 10,000 facial expressions. I fear the person training one expression 10,000 times.

Blue steel.

Bruce Lee ?

In zoolander, a model develops a facial expression so beautiful it can stop thrown weapons in midair. It's the only expression he ever does. He calls it blue steel. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D519hT7-ytY

Whoa!

Wasn't that Ben Affleck?

Ryan Gosling.

The problem is such model would also randomly produce ryan goslin facial expressions, leading to copyright issues.

As per github copilot that isn't an issue at all.

A warning for fellow so called fun-haters: this comment started the first comment thread on HN I've seen that degraded into a reddit-level pun/joke thread without some one immediately stopping it. I really hope this isn't a trend.

(Nothing personal with OP. It was actually a very clever joke. Just had to do this to keep HN standards. I really don't want to lose this place to memes and hot takes as it happened in virtualy every other aggregator).

It's up to others to downvote this drivel. I hate to see HN go down the toilet and become another reddit.

that's about 1M Pattinsons
