Food is pretty cheap in the Western world because of "industrial farming", and the poor would suffer most if "industrial farming went extinct".
"The poor" suffer while industrial farming exists, they sufferend when industrial farming didn't exist and they will continue to suffer when all food is made in a factory.
They suffer because they're poor and because being poor they can't afford anything of quality, including food.
The incidence of hunger among the poor is lower than in the past, thanks in part to efficient agriculture which causes food to be cheap relative to their income.
