It does work in Julia though and is only a pull request away from becoming part of the language:

julia> const ⩶ = ===

=== (built-in function)

julia> const ⩵ = ==

== (generic function with 171 methods)

julia> 1 ⩶ 1

true

julia> 1 ⩵ 2

false
