I watched the drama unfold and consider myself informed enough to develop my own opinion, which coincides with that of the staff.
It’s been a completely smooth transition and don’t see how Freenode will recover without these amazing people.

Huh? Freenode is fine, they just had to move to a different domain name (liber.chat) due to aggressive domain squatting.
The ridiculous statement is that:

not the associated implication that rasengan in particular is in the wrong, which is true, but not particularly supported by their desperately trying to save face.
