I’ve been the C++ expert at work but am hesitant about doing the interview problems with it, due to most people saying Python will allow you to answer the problems quicker using the succinct syntax. What are your thoughts on C++ in interview problems?

Done some research on this. It's not that interviewing in C++ isn't ok, but you'll increase your chances to fail due to language complexity and time to edit the code. Nobody cares at the language level how you optimize your code in an interview.

I know C++ and I'm learning Python and vim right now just for coding interviews.
