I'm not really sure how that's an argument. It's just a fact. Rust has been stable and backwards compatible since 2015.

How many libraries written in 2015 rust have you actually tried using recently?

A few, actually. I don't remember crate names, but aside from the colors in the prebuilt documentation being a bit dated, you can't tell.
