Yes they have issues, yes they allow people to do amazing stuff.
For us it's our goats who share a space with us. It'd be unmanageable without a leaf blower.
Ours is electric, Ryobi ONE+, which shares batteries with 7 regular tools we use (And another 5 that gather dust)
If you want to make the world a better place, how about we stop rewarding university press releases of this weeks new BS battery tech, and work on getting handyman batteries down in price (they are exorbitant) and cross compatibility wouldn't hurt.
Or like Dyson (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/mar/06/dyson-sil...) get someone working on a quieter leaf blower.
Picking on people because they have a different life is boring, some people like to travel, some people smash alcohol to 5am and some people like a nice garden that's prim and proper. And those can be all the same person at different points of life. People are literally making up pollution figures here for this and jumping on just so stories as if they explain everything, people have to stop joining these group hate subcultures, that's what we have sports for.
