I'm curious whether this $24.99/yr revenue is shared with the labels who own the "pirated" music as part of the deal.

I would definitely think it would be shared, I highly doubt the labels would agree to it otherwise.

Reports were that they'd be getting 30% of it, and a significant amount (tens of millions) each in upfront fees.
