Yeah, I honestly think there are some great learnings to be had from fossil that could be applied to git as well. Its unfortunate that ticketing, wikis, etc are all vendor specific for git (gitlab, github, bitbucket, sr.ht, etc) but with fossil you get it all at the same time.
