It is stunning the comparison between this and the BLM protests. The local protest to me had a tank at it, for a peaceful protest in a park.

This is next to the capital, this is people breaking into a building, and all that's there is a bunch of police?

The police and mob are on the same side.

The military has also sided with the fascists.

That’s not what I’m seeing here: https://apnews.com/article/ap-electoral-college-congress-7af... — 1100 national guard deployed. Stop believing hearsay, it’s how we’re in this mess to start.

how about this one https://twitter.com/jihanbit/status/1346909463660396550

If anyone has ever wondered what white privilege is, this is it.

Police gassed and opened fire on BLM protesters for throwing water bottles, but Trump protesters storm the capitol rotunda with firearms and they are trying to "deescalate."

Incredible and sad.

Well they sang the star spangled banner all while storming the seat of govt ... oh the irony of it all.

This is the most stunning event of the Trump presidency. What a batshit finale. It's hard to imagine the Senate being evacuated so quickly that emails were still on the screens of staffer's computers. (https://twitter.com/Grimm_Book/status/1346926517260066823/ph...)

So far.

I wonder if media will call this a coup much like they label other countries.

The British media is certainly using that word in places.

You wanna make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs.

The omelette being fascist dictatorship and eggs being innocent lives.

I meant that if you want to steal an election you have to endure stuff like this at least for some time.
