How much of IntelliJ is native code, JVM or Python code (or maybe something else)?

Does Apple ship an optimized JVM or is this under Rosetta?

JetBrains ships a custom JVM that their IDEs run on.

My mac did not come with a working native JDK, I had to install the Azul one built for M1.
