I honestly think that's a bit too far.

Agreed that it is a bit too far. Emphasis on the bit.

It is a de-facto dictatorship and it is tyrannical by many definitions.

Thanks for the effort, but I think I really would like to stick with 'tyrannical dictatorship'. For me, it just fits better.
