Not true at all. In many countries, content from Corona-deniers is instantly removed, even in live streams, and their creators are banned for 1 or 2 weeks.

Could you please stop breaking the site guidelines? You've been doing it a lot, I'm afraid. They ask: "Please don't comment about the voting on comments. It never does any good, and it makes boring reading."

I agree but still a good example that OP's statements are questionable.

Wait, they're claiming that Youtube recommends a lot of conspiracy bullshit, which is pretty well documented. You're pointing out that Youtube bans one specific narrow type of conspiracy bullshit, which is true but irrelevant. I don't see how that makes their statements questionable.

No, it's not. It's like saying smoking is good for you because there's this one 120 year old smoker.

COVID misinformation is being tackled with specific manual attention because the algorithm was prioritizing it, and because it's receiving fairly unique amounts of attention.

Google's (and Facebook's and Twitter's) hands were forced here. They'd much rather be leaving it alone like they do with other conspiracy theories.

Note that the article dates to June 2019, based on Chaslot's experiences from earlier years (which were probably still largely true when the article was written, but hard to check right now one way or another).
