To be fair, you didn't say you did or had owned one - you just told us to discount design flaws in them!

In the cars, not the engines. People often conflate the two.

A reasonably maintained Mazda rotary engine will have a similar lifespan to similar cars of the same era with piston engines.

Cosmos, a Citroen, couple others. None that saw US release though, IIRC.

Cosmo, Luce, RX-2, RX-3, I think they even did a Familia at one point.

There was also the RX-3.

That's the only car you understood. FCs and FDs are different generations of RX7.
