How did Roblox solve the chicken and egg problem of getting developers to build games on their platform and getting kids to play them — did they launch with their own games first?
It pays to consider that Roblox has been around for more than a decade. Afaik they exploded 2-3 years ago, but they had a lot of time to get there. Over that timeframe, it’s relatively easy to build up a decent library. Some of their game-modes are effectively prebuilt, like the “obby” which is just a linear platformer.
