Your math is off by 4 orders of magnitude. 1 cm^2 = (10 mm)^2 = 100 mm^2, so 462 cm^2 = 46200 mm^2

I've always been a fan of W|A scale comparison system but this is by far the most oddly interesting one I've seen. It's not just any medium pizza but a Domino's medium pizza.
