The most disappointing aspect to me is that the difference between the Pro and the Pro Max is no longer just the size. I'm quite fond of the size of my 11 Pro and I don't really want to be upsold to the Pro Max if I want the best.

It has been a lost opportunity not to take advantage of the extra size to improve the the features for the max.

The problem is I dont see anything about the Max Camera that could not be fitted into the Pro. They both share the same Camera Module size.

The 12 Pro is larger than the 11 Pro too, which is a double kick there if you wanted to stay on the top camera without going up in size.

The Pro and the Pro Max are exactly the same except for the camera and the battery.

It wasn’t until home widgets became a thing that I actually began entertaining the idea of getting a Pro Max.

Hasn't it always been the case that the Pro Max has a better camera package?

Not the last two iterations with the X generation design (XS and 11 Pro had feature parity between regular and Max versions).

Not for Pro Max, since they're new and Apple stopped doing this recently. But the Plus models usually had a better camera.

Ah I see now, the only difference was screen size

I was hoping so badly that the rumors were wrong and even the smallest option came in a full featured pro version. I don't get these enormous phones except for older folks who struggle with small controls. All options are super frustrating to me. Small, touch id and best camera is what I want.
